Even Small Victories Are Few and Far Between  is a work comprised of fifteen fibre based silver gelatine prints. Each print is an enlargement made in the darkroom from a game of noughts and crosses, played with the artists Mother, drawn on sheets of spoiled film that had been accidentally exposed to light.  The film was useless for conventional photographic purposes and so these games reclaimed a way for the material to document a period of time, as they would have had they remained in their intended condition.
